We at Freedom for Youth - Knoxville are thrilled to announce our 2nd annual banquet! When we say “banquet,” we actually mean a fabulous party! Mark your calendars for July 22nd from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Countryside Wedding and Events, 1995 Hwy 5 in Knoxville.

Christy, our amazing Program Coordinator, will be sharing all the exciting updates about Freedom for Youth - Knoxville while we munch away. Not sure what we're all about? Here’s the scoop: we’re an after-school program for Marion County focused on faith, education, employment, and leadership. We provide essential services to our kids and families, and we’re growing! We’ll share many ways you can get involved and support us at the banquet.

Now, let’s talk food! Get ready for a buffet filled with 70s favorites that'll take you back in time! Think Guy's Green Onion Chips, hot ham and cheese sliders, dips, veggies, fruits, jello cake, cream cheese mints—so much deliciousness, we can’t list it all! And, of course, what’s a retro bash without Fondue pots? We’ll have those along with a chocolate fountain because... why not.

After Christy’s update, get ready to hit the dance floor! Remember the fun DJ from the daddy/daughter dance in February? He’s coming back, and this time, you can bring all your kids, young and old for a fabulous family date night! Yes, there will be a disco ball spinning to light up the night!

Feeling thirsty after all that dancing? Spire Drink Co. will be on-site with mocktails sporting fun and groovy names to quench your thirst.

Want to kick back for a bit? Enjoy some snacks, sip on mocktails, and snap some far-out photos with our funky backdrops!

And here’s the cherry on top: there will be a prize for the most authentic 70s outfit! Dust off those vintage threads from your closet or rent a costume from the Pella Costume shop. Let’s see those far-out outfits shining bright!
